Your marketing, handled. You just guide.
Most guide marketing happens at 9pm after a full day on the water: a $30 template site, ads set up from a YouTube video, a Google profile nobody's touched in years. Driftline runs the whole machine for you, and reports it on one page a month.
Driftline is done-for-you marketing for owner-run fishing guides: a booking website, managed Meta and Google ads, search, and a review system, run by a team whose number you have. Published marketing pricing starts at $1,500 a month, a standalone website is $295, every engagement starts with a free preview of your new website, and we take one operation per stretch of water.
The four jobs of guide marketing, all of them run.
Every job lands on the same one-page monthly report: what the ads cost, what came back, trips booked, cost per booking.
You already do the hard part.
Reading water, rowing all day, putting clients on fish: that's the job nobody can do for you. The marketing is the part that scales without you, if someone actually runs it instead of squeezing it into 9pm.
Do I have to run anything myself?
No. About twenty minutes at setup: a few questions and photos of your water. After that the work happens on our side, and every call is yours to override by text.
Who does the work, actually?
We do. Driftline is a small, focused team: the people you text are the ones building the site, running the ads, and writing the report.

Three added trips a month cover the fee before the fourth.
At an average $550 trip, the Get Booked math is covered by trip three. That's the arithmetic the monthly report is built to show, plainly, every month.
What does a fishing guide marketing service actually include?
At Driftline: a booking website on your own domain, a tended Google Business Profile, managed Meta and Google ads, a review system, search work that compounds, and a one-page monthly report. Our team runs all of it; you get the bookings and the numbers.
The scope grows with the plan. The Website at $295 is the site alone, rented, or $3,500 one time to own it. Get Booked at $1,500 is the marketing engine: the site plus your Google profile, reviews, managed ads, two client emails a year, and the report, with your stretch of water locked. Stay Booked at $2,500 adds the rebooking engine and monthly articles about your water. The full menu is on the pricing page, published, because "book a call to find out" is an agency habit we don't keep.
How much should a guide spend on marketing?
A working rule: marketing management at $1,500 or $2,500 a month depending on scope, plus ad spend on your own card, around $500 to $750 a month at Get Booked. The proof case behind our numbers ran roughly $1,000 a month in ads, so we won't quote you a smaller budget and promise the same result.
The honest math is per booking, not per month. If your average trip is $550 and the machine adds three trips a month, the Get Booked fee is covered before the fourth. That's the arithmetic the monthly report is built to show you, plainly, so you can decide each month whether it's earning its keep. No contract holds you if it isn't.
Do I need ads, or is a good website enough?
A good site converts the demand that finds you; it doesn't create demand. If your Saturdays fill from word of mouth but the middle of your week is empty, that's a demand problem, and demand is what the ads and search legs are for.
That's why the menu splits where it does. Plenty of guides start with the website to fix how they show up, then switch marketing on when they see what the site converts on its own. Guides who need midweek trips now start at Get Booked, because ads are the only channel that books trips in the same month it's switched on. Search, meanwhile, compounds quietly behind both: the SEO and AEO pages explain that layer.
What results can a guide reasonably expect?
We can't promise you numbers, and we put that in writing. What we can show is one real case, measured: Bowman Fly Fishing grew revenue 4x in a year on the site, ads, and search playbook, with an 8x return on ad spend. Your water, rates, and season will differ.
What you should expect from any marketer is the ability to see for yourself. Every Driftline client gets the one-page report monthly: what the ads cost, what came back, trips booked, cost per booking, where they came from. If it isn't working, the page says so, and you can walk that month. The absence of a results promise is the point; the presence of plain numbers is the substitute.
Is fly fishing marketing different?
The mechanics are the same; the calendar and the client are not. Fly guides sell seasons and skill, so the creative, the timing, and the content lean differently. There's a dedicated page for it, built around the one fly outfit we can name and show.
If you run a fly operation, read fly fishing guide marketing, which walks through the Bowman case in detail. If you run bass charters, inshore trips, or anything with a motor, this page is your starting point and the machine is identical: site, ads, search, reviews, one report. And if you're weighing whether guiding can even support the spend, the Fishing Guide Business Report and the per-state field notes on guide income are free reading.
Is Driftline your kind of outfit?
- Guiding is your living and you own the operation or make the calls
- Your Saturdays fill but the middle of your week doesn't
- You'd rather be on the water than inside an ads manager
- You want one team accountable for the site, the ads, and the numbers
- You want to see the work before any money moves
- You guide a few weekends a season on the side
- You want a results promise instead of a plain-spoken report
- You want to run the ads yourself with someone on call
- Your stretch of water is already taken. We'll tell you straight

Marketing agencies sell scope documents. Guides need bookings. We built Driftline to be the second thing: a team that runs the whole machine, shows you the numbers monthly, and tells you no if your water's already taken. Text us your stretch and we'll tell you if it's open.
Driftline · (470) 777-9686About fishing guide marketing, answered straight.
What does Driftline actually do for a fishing guide?
Driftline runs the marketing side of your guide business: the booking website, the Meta and Google ads, the search work, the review system, and getting last season's clients back on the water (that last piece is rolling out now). You get the bookings and one page of numbers a month.
How much does fishing guide marketing cost?
Published: Get Booked at $1,500/mo or Stay Booked at $2,500/mo, and a standalone website at $295/mo or $3,500 one time. Ad spend is separate and always on your own card, usually $500 to $750 a month at Get Booked. Nothing bills until your site is live and you've seen it.
How is this different from hiring a marketing agency?
Published pricing instead of a discovery call, a free finished preview before any money moves, a real team doing the work instead of an account rep relaying it, and one operation per stretch of water instead of a client list full of your competitors.
Does it work for bass, inshore, or charter operations?
Yes. The machine is identical for any owner-run guide operation: site, ads, search, reviews, one report. The proof case we can name is a fly outfit, so fly guides should read the fly fishing guide marketing page for the detailed walkthrough.
What results should I expect?
Driftline doesn't sell a results promise, and nobody honest does. The one case we can name: Bowman Fly Fishing grew revenue 4x in a year on the site, ads, and search playbook, at an 8x return on ad spend. Your report shows your own numbers monthly, and you can walk any month.
Do I have to run anything myself?
No. About twenty minutes of your time at setup: a few questions and photos of your water. After that, the work happens on our side and every call is yours to override by text.
What does the free website preview involve?
Tell us your water and we build a finished preview of your new booking site before you pay anything. If you like it, we talk tiers. If you don't, you never pay a dollar, and if your water's already taken, we tell you before you get your hopes up.
Who owns my domain and client list?
You do, from day one, and both leave with you if you ever go. The site itself you rent, with unlimited updates included, or own it outright for $3,500 one time.
What is 'one operation per stretch of water'?
At Get Booked and up, Driftline works for one guide operation per stretch. Your competitor on your own water can't hire us while you're a client, and if your stretch is already spoken for, we say no to you, plainly.
How fast can we start?
The preview usually lands within days of your photos arriving. Ads can be live inside the first weeks at Get Booked; search compounds over seasons behind them. Same-day replies in season, by text.
