The boat is a 23 foot Ranger bay boat with a 300 horsepower Yamaha. Live bait is the normal method, and anglers who want a harder day can book a specialty trip fished with topwater plugs and with hard and soft plastic artificials. A standard trip covers ice, live bait, tackle, fuel and the fishing license, and the catch is cleaned and bagged at the end of the day for clients to take home. Additional boats are available for parties too large for one hull.
Four trip lengths are published, running from four hours to eight, each priced for one to three anglers with a per head charge for a fourth.
