Twelve guestrooms sit directly on the Kenai River here, with deck access to the water, an all you can eat breakfast and packed lunches on activity days. Almost everything is sold as a multi night package rather than a single charter: 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 night itineraries, priced per person at double occupancy, each bundling a fixed set of guided days. A typical week pairs six hour salmon charters on the Kasilof and Kenai rivers with catch and release trophy rainbow trout days on the upper Kenai and one or two long saltwater runs for halibut, rockfish and salmon out of Homer, Ninilchik or Seward. Other builds swap fishing days for a guided canoe trip on the Swan Lake canoe trails, a float plane fly-out for salmon or bear viewing, or a Kenai Fjords wildlife and glacier tour from Seward. One itinerary drops fishing almost entirely in favor of whitewater rafting on Six Mile Creek, helicopter glacier kayaking or dog sledding, and an airboat run up the Fox River. Guides, tackle, bait and gear are included, and hip boots or chest waders are lent where a trip calls for them. Prices vary by month, with June and August generally quoted below July. Reservations are taken by phone.
